He frowned slightly as she dove under the water, while he did like a challenge, vying for Lulu’s affections had a tendency to make him feel inadequate. He knew she was distant because of her shy, even frigid, nature, but it still felt like if he was more appealing that wouldn’t keep her from him.
He’d just have to settle for her happiness for now, glancing up to see if she’d resurfaced yet before sighing and lying back, shutting his eyes an gently treading the water with his hands and feet.
Pressure had begun to build within her chest indicating that she needed air, pushing herself towards the surface, she broke through letting out the air she had been with holding whilst submerged. her hands went to push back the hair from her eyes, revealing them both for a rare look at her full visage.
Her hair was completely soaked through and looked like slick oil that fanned out around her small form. She made her way over to where Seifer was treading water and offered him a smile. She noticed that he seemed to be deep in thought. Inclining her head, she spoke in a soft tone. “Is there something wrong? Have I upset you?”
